Community Calendar Open House

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2

Healing Prayer Service

Antiques in the Square

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6
CLEAR LAKE - The Clear Lake Antiques Association is sponsoring "Antiques in the Square" on Sunday, September 6 from 9AM to 4:30PM in the downtown City Park by the seawall in Clear Lake, Iowa. There will also be a church service at 9:30AM by Zion Lutheran and special music in the afternoon by Billy Dewey. Downtown businesses will also have extended hours. Farmamerica Fall Fair

BLUE EARTH - Interfaith Caregivers in Blue Earth, is offering you to be a part of the "Zucchini Adoption Program". Just bring your excess garden produce to their office, which is located at Suite 5 in the Blue Earth Ag Center.  Seniors who are looking for that fresh taste or those interested in helping - by delivering veggies, are asked to contact Interfaith Caregivers at 507-526-4684.

ALBERT LEA - The Salvation Army, which is located at 302 Court Street in Albert Lea, is serving lunch for students and their families each Monday through Friday, through August 28, from 11:30 to 12:30PM. 

MANKATO - The city of Mankato will soon begin road contruction in the area of Bethel Baptist Church in Mankato, starting May 11. The only way to access the Bethel Baptist Church parking lot will be from the west end of Balcerzak, which is off Warren, through a temporary entrance. ALBERT LEA - Crossroads Church in Albert Lea, is in need of volunteers for their program, "Elevate", which is a ministry to 5th, 6th and 7th grade students. If you would like more information you can call Marc Castro at 507-377-3276.

ALBERT LEA - Assembly of God Church in Albert Lea will host Ruby's Pantry Food Distribution the First Saturday of each month from 10AM to 12noon. The church is located at 1540 South Shore Drive in Albert Lea.

BUFFALO CENTER - There will be a Blue Grass and Gospel Jam every 2nd Thursday of the month, from 6 to 9PM at the Heritage Town Center, located on Highway 9 west of the fire station in Buffalo Center. A lunch will be served by the Buffalo Center Historical Society.


EAST CHAIN - Ruby's Pantry will distribute food in East Chain on the 4th Saturday of every month from 10AM to 12noon at the East Chain Evangelical Free Church which is located at 507 280th Avenue in East Chain
