FORT DODGE - The First Evangelical Free Church is heading up a project called Fort Dodge Mobile Pack in cooperation with "Feed My Starving Children". (You can find more information at www.fmsc.org). On Saturday, December 5th, the First Evangelical Free Church is planning to pack more than 100,000 meals at the Community Christian School gym, 2406 9 1/2 Avenue S in Fort Dodge, for shipment to starving children overseas. WRIGHT COUNTY: If you are in need of help with your heating bill, the 2015-2016 Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) has been established to help qualifying low-income Iowa homeowners and renters pay for a portion of their primary heating costs for the winter season. Applications will be taken November 1, 2015 through April 30, 2016. This program is not designed to pay households' total energy costs. The program will provide supplemental assistance based on several factors, including, but not limited to, total household income, household size, dwelling type, and type of heating fuel. If you have already applied, and have been approved, for this season, you cannot re-apply. For more informatio
