FORT DODGE - ICKY's is a youth center for 5-12th grade students, which they can come hang out, meet new friends, play games, eat food, or study in a quiet room. WRIGHT COUNTY: If you are in need of help with your heating bill, the 2015-2016 Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) has been established to help qualifying low-income Iowa homeowners and renters pay for a portion of their primary heating costs for the winter season. Applications will be taken November 1, 2015 through April 30, 2016. This program is not designed to pay households' total energy costs. The program will provide supplemental assistance based on several factors, including, but not limited to, total household income, household size, dwelling type, and type of heating fuel. If you have already applied, and have been approved, for this season, you cannot re-apply.
