ALGONA: The Internationally Famous Kaib Nativity Scene, which has half-life sized figures of the Nativity crafted by the German prisoners of war while they were interned at the Algona prisoner of war camp in 1945, is celebrating 70 continuous years of showing through December 31st. The showing location is at Kossuth County Fairgrounds just West of Highway 169 at the South edge of Algona and the days and times are: Saturdays and Weekdays from 2 PM to 8 PM, Sundays and Christmas Day from Noon to 8 PM, and will close at 6 PM on December 31st.
