Greetings in the name of the Lord!  As many people have discovered, KJLY Christian radio can be a great source for Christian music, teaching, news and encouragement.  We trust that you, too, have been blessed through the radio ministry of God's Word.

To help more people discover the resource of Christian radio, KJLY has been involved with a Sleepy Eye and Springfield area group of Christians who have worked diligently to bring Christian radio to their community through the establishment of a KJLY "translator".  While smaller in size in comparison to a full scale radio station, the "translator" faithfully picks up the 24 hour KJLY radio ministry in its entirety, strengthens it and re-broadcasts the radio signal to homes and hearts in the Sleepy Eye and Springfield MN areas.

We're thankful to report that many have been blessed by the Word of God through this translator since it began its "On-Air" ministry in September of 1995.  It continues to gain listeners and we are so pleased that you have desired information regarding its ministry and support.

The local group of Christians who are in charge of the translator effort are known as Prairie Light Christian Radio.  As an incorporated, non-profit group, they have the responsibility for the oversight and financial needs of the translator serving the communities of Springfield and Sleepy Eye.  As the translator group meets regularly and welcomes input and assistance, should you desire to find out more about the translator ministry please write Prairie Light Christian Radio at PO Box 555, Sleepy Eye, MN  56085 for the date and location of their next Board meeting.

As an IRS recognized, non-profit organization, all financial gifts in support of the translator are fully tax deductible.  While the monthly needs are not large (about $150 for tower rent, electricity and insurance) they are regular and your financial support will help assure the continuance of the Christian Radio ministry in your area.  Should you desire, your financial gifts can be mailed to:
